This blender works great, and is easy to use and clean. The lid fits securely and is dishwasher-safe. The digital timer is a very convenient feature. I bought this to replace a Vitamix that I bought about 8-10 years ago. The new one is easier to use and to clean, but my smoothies come out with chunks of frozen fruit, which didn't happen with my previous Vitamix.
